Interpol World 2017 Conference

“INTERPOL World is a unique opportunity for law enforcement and industry to build partnerships for developing innovative solutions to the global security challenges of tomorrow”

– Jürgen Stock, INTERPOL Secretary General

Organized by INTERPOL, INTERPOL World is a platform that brings together the public and private sectors. The goal of this congress is to address and provide the solution to the challenges faced by global policing community. It is a three day conference that focuses on three main areas; safe cities, cybercrime and safe cities.  The presentations and discussions by the participants enables all the visitors to gain a profound insight in the future security threats.

Various companies participate in this event and showcase their new technologies, tools, equipment and solutions to the conferees. The manufacturers and suppliers demonstrate their latest developments in all the fields of cyber security, surveillance, forensics, biometrics and identity solutions, command and control and investigation tools.

These contraptions are abreast with the latest trends. The public security officials identify the suppliers that they need to build their response to the threats they come across. They choose from the innovations that are presented.

The security landscape is evolving with the advancement of technologies. The anonymous world of virtual business to disrupt public security and commercial stability are increasing. Criminals are taking advantage of technology, ease of international travel and yet, technology alone cannot be the only solution to counter technological risk and threats. A strategic response has to be taken into account to fight transnational organized crime. A conscientious effort from law enforcement agencies, businesses and citizens, is necessary to protect ourselves, our assets and our property.

The Congress will be held for 2 days, from July 4 to July 6, 2017 and exhibition from July 5, 2017 to July 7, 2017 in Singapore.

The mandate of INTERPOL World, a global exhibition and congress platform, encapsulates the vision of a safer world through using innovations and engaging government, organizations, and strategic think tanks in a multi-stakeholder approach.

With more than 10,000 public security officials participating in the event, INTERPOL World 2017 is a much-needed chance to showcase new technologies, equipment, tools and solutions who will convene in Singapore to discuss resolutions to face future security challenges.
